Squeakamo: Quest for Cheese!

REJOICE!! For I, Squeakamo--that's me--have squeaked!

Someone stole Squeakamo's cheese! Or HAVE they? In any case, help the mighty mouse find his cheese while figuring out a way to deal with the Kibber-de-Katz and the Scuzzy Buzzers getting in the way of his quest for cheese in this short RPG Maker 2003-developed adventure! Thankfully, Squeakamo has his good buddy Mr. Needle there to help him because, let's be honest, Squeakamo is all brawn while Mr. Needle is the brains of the operation.

In addition to the Windows executable, the OS that older RPG Maker games are made for, you get access to the Easy RPG version, which also allows you to play the game on Linux or Mac if you so choose, PLUS the RetroArch ROM version if you want to play the game on an emulator device of your choice (Steam Deck, Miyoo Mini, etc), a download of RetroArch and the EasyRPG core downloaded into said copy of RetroArch! WONDERS!!

I am an artist who dabbled in easy game creation in order to prove I can make unique pre-rendered sprites that look good, so don't expect this to be the next Final Fantasy VI or Chrono Trigger, or even a quarter as long as those games. However, if you want a brisk, easy adventure to relax along with on weekend afternoons or after a long day, this game should keep you entertained for a bit! Despite being made in RPG Maker 2003, I made sure it didn't have things that younger generations of gamers typically don't have the patience for, like random encounters or sluggish turn-based combat. I opted for a more 2D Zelda-like design where you have to find certain items to survive fights against strong enemies, but when you do earn said items, the enemies they're designed to defeat will go down just like that and you are free to explore without worry! Not exactly the most complex or challenging game design, but again, I am an artist that took the initiative to learn basic game design in order to prove my art ideas are viable to programmers and more experienced indie developers and their projects.
